Submit Your Green Supercomputer

Submissions for June 2010 are OPEN

Dear Submitter,

We have updated the submission process to better correlate power-performance metrics and to be more inclusive of the supercomputing community. There is a total of four steps to complete a submission: selecting an initial method of submission, providing general details of the site and system, providing performance and power measurements, selecting which list to submit to. All of the fields that are bold are required. Any field that is red signifies an error. Before you begin your submission, it would be helpful to have as much information about your machine and the manner in which your power measurement was performed as possible.

Additionally, beginning with the November 2009 release, the Green500 has multiple lists. The Green500 List will continue to rerank the TOP500 supercomputers by energy-efficiency. The Little Green500 List will be more inclusive by broadening the definition of a supercomputer to include any machine that could have made the TOP500 within the past 18 months.

Two new exploratory lists are also open for submissions. The Open Green500 List will allow supercomputers to use a combination of single-precision and double-precision to generate a correct double-precision result for LINPACK. The second exploratory list, the HPCC Green500 List, uses the High Performance Computing Challenge (HPCC) benchmark for its performance results.

We thank you for your time and interest in green supercomputing. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or comments about this new submission process.

Thanks,

The Green500
